Terms of Service

Last updated: July 26, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Trailerly platform and services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company, you represent that you are authorized to bind that company.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be a business entity or an authorized representative of one, and provide accurate company and contact information. You are responsible for the activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.

2. Rentals and bookings

The Service lets you browse available trailers and request rentals. A booking is a request until confirmed by Trailerly. Rental periods, pickup, and return terms are shown at the time of booking and in your rental agreement.

3. Pricing, quotes, and payment

Listings display short-, medium-, and long-term rates. The quote shown for your selected dates is the amount you will be charged for that rental period; applicable taxes, deposits, and any usage-based fees (for example, mileage-based maintenance on short-term rentals) are disclosed before you commit. You authorize Trailerly to charge the payment method on file for amounts owed under your bookings.

4. Insurance (Certificate of Insurance)

You are required to maintain a valid Certificate of Insurance (“COI”) meeting Trailerly’s requirements for the duration of any rental. If your COI lapses, Trailerly may pause new rentals on your account until a valid certificate is on file.

5. Renter responsibilities

You agree to use rented equipment lawfully and in accordance with the rental agreement, to return equipment in the condition received (ordinary wear excepted), and to report damage or loss promptly. You are responsible for all fines, tolls, and penalties incurred during your rental period.

6. Cancellations and changes

Cancellation and modification terms are presented at booking. Some rentals may be subject to cancellation windows or fees, which will be disclosed before you confirm.

7. Prohibited uses

You may not misrepresent your identity or insurance, sublease equipment without authorization, use the Service for unlawful transport, or interfere with the Service’s operation or security.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trailerly disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [STATE], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. [Confirm governing-law state and any dispute-resolution/arbitration terms with counsel.]

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email, and the “Last updated” date above will change.
